Hello Everybody! It is the beginning of a new school year and we are excited to here that more and more students at La Canada High School and teenagers throughout La Canada Flintridge from other high schools such as Sacred Heart, Saint Francis, and Flintridge Prep are taking part in politics. Politics is something our club encouraged everyone to be a part of because it what will determine their future. Now that the school year has begun, the Young Republicans are almost done organizing this year's annual September 11 Commemoration event. We strongly encourage everyone to come out and honor those who fell to the hands of terrorist on that tradgic day. Our club does have a new advisor this year. The club would like to thank Mr. Jim Cartnal for accepting our request to be our advisor. Now that he is our advisor we will be meeting in his classroom in room 301, we will hold a meeting every other thursday during lunch. We hope that later on we can open the group up to the city's other high schools so that they can attend our general meetings at some other time other than LCHS lunch. We are looking forward to a good school year and we hope that you can all join us.
